Burn gel dressing is impregnated with a 90% purified water, water-soluble gel. Sterilized by
gamma radiation and with a 5-year shelf life, the dressing acts by drawing heat away from the
skin surface preventing the heat from progressing deeper into the skin. The burn dressing also
helps to relieve pain and protects the surface of the burn against airborne contamination.
